You're better and finding the middle ground than I am. When I'm that upset,I only give myself two options - a heated exchange with the real possibility of violence or simply walking away frustrated. I almost always end up simply walking away. Yours is a good solution. Now to remember to carry a pen and some paper.

Love the note. I found myself laughing out loud. I think that you still should have let air out of one tire and then told him you could of done all four.. "but your not that mean." Of course, ten years ago I would have peppered the letter with more colorful language... my how times have changed.
